Live Music – Bear Creek Wilderness
October 19 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us for our monthly Humminbird Event. We offer sommelier style educational tastings for both our Wine and Spirits. At the top of the hour we will hold group Wine Tasting and at the bottom of the hour will be our group Spirit Tasting.
Inside the tasting room Bear Creek WILDERNESS will be playing between 2 and 5 pm. You can enjoy their rootsy, Celtic bluesy mountain sound mingled with a folk meets country and rock influence. Enjoy the music and kick back and relax with a wonderful glass of wine, great cocktail and something special from our Kitchen.
Bear Creek Wilderness, a husband & wife duo, began their musically wedded journey together in the year 2000. They play acoustic music with echoes from the past mingled with the present. They have a rootsy, Celtic bluesy mountain sound mingled with a folk meets country and rock influence. When you catch a live performance by Bear Creek WILDERNESS, you find yourself wondering, what’s next? You can count on Ken singing ballads that will glide your mind’s eye on a journey with songs such as Edmond Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot or Roads to Moscow by Al Stewart. Expect Celtic renderings such as John Riley or Mountaineer by Tim O’Brien. Hear traditional songs such as St. James Infirmary, John Barley Corn or Red Rockin’ Chair. Next, you may hear She talks to Angels by the Black Crowes or Copperhead Road by Steve Earle. You’ll be smiling with songs like Lime in da Coconut by Harry Neilson, or In the Summertime by Mungo Jerry. You’ll feel their roots with traditional songs, such as Prodigal Son. You may hear Jambalaya, King of the Road, Highway in the Wind or some John Prine tunes. And, of course, heartfelt originals.
